Participants in the democratic annexation movement are North Americans from both countries who wish to debate and encourage broader discussions on this topic. Some of us are opposed to the idea, but still contribute constructively by pointing out the challenges and issues that would potentially arise if this thing goes ahead some day. We are interested citizens, who are out here testing the terrain and sensing a potential that is worth investigating. Over the years, we've accumulated a wealth of debates and information that is archived on the sub-section of this website which you can conveniently access by typing forums.annexation.ca in your browser's address bar. Over the years, we've had people from all walks of life come in and throw in their support and/or insights. We'd like you to become one of us. Together we can enthusiastically bring a new vision to the table, one that is compelling to most who get a chance to explore it. Some of us are active military, serving in the dangerous conflict zones you hear about in the news. Others are hard working Canadians and Americans. Many are veterans of the armed services. Some work in telecommunications, or the oil industry, or own their own business. Some work at Wal-Mart, others, Wal-Street. We also count among us some unique individuals, not least of which a retired C.I.A agent, an executive vice-president for one of America's major media corporations, and also journalists and producers who enjoy the relative anonymity of the internet. We are fathers and mothers, we are sons and daughters, we are brothers and sisters: |
| We're the next door neighbours, we're the people who fill up your gas tank, who refill your coffee at the restaurant, who risk their lives so you can live free. We are your undiscovered family. | ||

All of us participate in a personal function, and this project attracts people from all affiliations or economic status. Everyone has his reasons for perceiving the potential of such a Union. Everyone has his own reasons for supporting or opposing it. What is impressive, is the sheer amount of opinions and valid points that are made and preserved on our forums, over the years. We are a community of citizens from literally all walks of life, and this is what makes this proposition so engaging. It's an opportunity to connect with people from all over the land, from Hawaii to Prince-Edward's Island, we even have North American citizens who reside abroad, keeping us in touch with their outside perspectives of what goes on in the world. Our movement is not a movement of mass production. It is a slow but steady train that carries with it a valuable accumulation of serious and thoughtful discussions on this potential future for Canadians and Americans to consider. |

Are you part of us? If you intuitively answer by the affirmative, consider contributing your thoughts to this idea of uniting our countries. |
