Why devote a whole section of this website to principles? And what principles exactly is this about? Those excellent questions have their own excellent answers.
		First, because principles are the pillars of rationality that distinguish Man from Beast. Most people go about their lives, without ever really being exposed to political principles, and why they are essential when making collective decisions as nations. This section is about the political principles of just governance that have enabled our nations to prosper in freedom and security for these longs years. Yet freedom is a fragile treasure, that must be nurtured and cared for. The only way to keep freedom healthy is to educate ourselves and others to the principles that serve as the compass of our logic in the context of our political systems. This is why principles are so important, and deserve an entire section devoted to them. For some it's an introduction to a subject they had neglected. To others, a worthy refresher. In any event, the understanding of those principles makes overall support for an annexation more likely, and that is why I am enthusiastic to invest energy on this topic.
